I have just been
invited into a home filled with other felines and I have a huge dilemma. The other cats, though totally feline,
actually cuddle, and cuddle often, the pets of the house. What is worse, they seem to like it. I am lost!
Why would a feline rely on a pet for the attention they should be
seeking from a significant other feline? Besides, aren’t humans usually mean
and rough with felines?

“Dear Do not
understand,
You are definitely new
to the circuit if you have no idea of the attentions given by pets. Pets are not like the humans you meet when
you are an outside feline. Pets can pet
the whole feline body and scratch under the chin in just the right manner. Also, pets, though not quite as warm as us,
can actually help a feline warm up after a full day of romping. Finally, when felines cuddle with their pets,
they are actually increasing their pet’s desires to make them happy. Join the cuddle club and find out for yourself--you
will, I think, be pleasantly surprised.
Signed Cocoa”
Cats are normally nocturnal animals and will often sleep during the day and play at night. That is why they are often willing to climb into the lap of human friends, curl up, and go to sleep. If your cats are wanting to cuddle too much, try purchasing a cat bed similar to the ones pictured below and sprinkling catnip inside. This will draw the cats in and before long they will be happily sleeping away leaving your lap free.
