“Dear Cocoa,
Never thought I would
be writing to an advice cat, but here goes:
My pets are fond of having others over to the house. They get wild and drink awful smelling
drinks. After a few of those horrid
drinks, they start doing outrageous things.
I have learned to hide when that awful smell comes around because I
never know what they will do. What is
that stuff and why do they drink it (it must taste absolutely horrible considering
how bad it smells)?

“Dear Awful Drinks
Stink,
I don’t profess to be
the all-knowing feline of the world; however I do know a thing or two about
pets. In answer to your question, your
pets are drinking their equivalent to our favorite nip (catnip, of course). They drink several of them and then, feeling
quite giddy, they begin to play like they should have been doing all
along. It is a chance for them to
actually break out of their shell and become (almost) feline. Of course, as with our nip, some take way
more than they should and become incorrigible.
Hiding is your only option when that happens; and, to be honest, I
encourage all felines to hide when the ‘pet nip’ comes out.
Signed Cocoa”
