Communication issues

“Dear Cocoa,

Communication is a big problem in my house.  I can’t seem to get my pets to understand anything I say.  I meow and meow at them but they don’t listen.  How can I get my points across to them if they won’t even listen?  I am so frustrated that I am considering leaving the house and seeking other pets to live with.  Please help me,

Signed Trouble Communicating”

“Dear Trouble Communicating,

A nice reminder gift

Humans do not speak our language that is soo very true; however, there are ways to communicate with them without uttering a sound (or maybe a few small ones).  For instance:  if you are hungry and your pet is ignoring your attempts to get fed, try going after their food.  I mean, I know it is horrible tasting, but they might just begin to see that you are hungry.  Another idea is to stand beneath their feet and meow loudly while weaving in and out.  This will frustrate them into paying attention to you and you can then indicate what the problem is.  When they haven’t cleaned your box--try leaving them hints and suggestions on their bed or their favorite chair.  The possibilities are endless, just use your imagination and before you know it you will be communicating without any effort at all.

Signed Cocoa”
